Early signs of spring - despite the snow this week, the frogs have made a start on spawning.
Came across a pair of Mute swans this morning. Note the male with the slightly thicker neck and larger blackberry ( the bump just above his beak)

A large cock pheasant hanging out in the field as I had a walk earlier. Just starting to tune up the colours ahead of spring. He had no female company today, but hopefully soon.
A friendly Wattle bird stopped by whilst I was having a coffee. Check out the wattles just under the chin.
It’s 40 degrees here in Karratha. A few weeks back I put out a water bowl and fill it each day ( a couple of times ) my garden is now alive with birds! I love watching them. Check out the zebra finches and courting peaceful doves😊
